Goals for the New Year

Schools are starting up again and so I begin to set goals for myself for the new school year. One of the biggest barriers of being a primarily virtual tutor is that it is harder to make students feel seen in class. That is why one of my goals this year is to expand my SEL learning and give my students more of a chance to express themselves and be heard in the lesson. I also want to always ensure my learning materials reflect their passions. I really look forward to all the relationships I am about to build with my students this year!
